By using our website or voluntarily submitting information to Heritage Assembly, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you use our website, contact the church, register for a ministry or event, register a child for nursery care, make a donation, sign up for text messages, or otherwise interact with our online services.
Depending on how you interact with Heritage Assembly, this information may include:

• Information submitted through contact, registration, or ministry forms
• Event and ministry registration information
• Nursery registration and check-in information
• Children's names and, when voluntarily provided by a parent or guardian, photographs of children

When you give online, payment credentials such as credit-card, debit-card, or bank-account information are processed through the third-party giving and payment services used by Heritage Assembly.

2. Online Giving
Heritage Assembly provides online giving for tithes, offerings, and other donations through Realm by ACS Technologies.
When you make an online donation, you may provide payment information such as credit-card, debit-card, or bank-account information. Online giving and payment processing are provided through Realm and its applicable payment-processing partners. Heritage Assembly does not operate the payment-processing systems used to securely process your online payment credentials.
Heritage Assembly may receive and maintain information associated with your contribution, including your name, contact information, donation amount, date, fund or designation, transaction status, and giving history.
We use this information for purposes such as:
• Church accounting and bookkeeping
• Maintaining contribution records
• Providing contribution statements
• Financial reporting and administration
• Fulfilling applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements
Payment information and transactions are subject to the security and privacy practices of Realm, ACS Technologies, and their applicable payment-processing partners.
3. Nursery Registration and Children's Information
Heritage Assembly may collect information about children when a parent or legal guardian registers a child for our nursery or another children's ministry activity.
Nursery registration information may include:
• The child's name
• Parent or guardian information
• Parent or guardian contact information
• The relationship between the child and the registered adult
• Information necessary to operate our nursery registration and check-in system
• A photograph of the child, when voluntarily uploaded by a parent or guardian
Child Photographs
Parents and guardians may have the option to upload a current photograph of their child to assist our nursery team.
These photographs are used for internal nursery identification, check-in, child-care, and safety purposes, including helping authorized nursery workers correctly identify a child and the parent or guardian associated with that child's check-in.
Providing a photograph is optional unless otherwise stated on the applicable registration form.
Uploading a child's photograph for nursery registration does not give Heritage Assembly permission to publish or use that photograph on our website, social media accounts, livestreams, advertisements, promotional materials, or other public media.
Permission for public or promotional use of photographs, when applicable, is separate from nursery registration.
Access to nursery registration information and children's photographs is intended to be limited to Heritage Assembly personnel and authorized volunteers who reasonably need the information to operate or administer the applicable ministry.
A parent or legal guardian may contact Heritage Assembly to request correction or removal of their child's nursery registration information or photograph, subject to information we may reasonably or legally need to retain.
4. Nursery Call and Text Notifications
Heritage Assembly may use a Nursery Call system to notify a parent or guardian when a nursery worker needs their attention.
During nursery check-in, an authorized nursery worker may associate a child with a parent or guardian and, when text notifications are enabled, use that adult's registered mobile number for Nursery Call notifications.
A Nursery Call may include an on-screen notification within the church and, when authorized, an SMS/text message to the designated parent or guardian.
Nursery text notifications are intended for purposes related to the care of the registered child and are not used to enroll the recipient in unrelated marketing communications.

5. SMS and Text Message Communications
When you voluntarily provide a mobile telephone number and consent to receive text messages from Heritage Assembly, we may use that number to send communications that you have requested or authorized.
Depending on the program or service, messages may include nursery notifications, church announcements, weather-related notices, schedule changes, event information, or other church communications for which you have provided consent.
Message frequency may vary.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of making a donation, attending Heritage Assembly, or participating in church services.
You may opt out of applicable text messages by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or contact Heritage Assembly.
Mobile information and SMS consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

6. How We Use Personal Information
Heritage Assembly may use the information we collect to:

Our website and online services are intended primarily for adults, parents, guardians, and families.
When personal information concerning a child is submitted for nursery registration or another children's ministry activity, it should be submitted by the child's parent or legal guardian or with appropriate authorization.
Heritage Assembly does not knowingly use children's nursery registration information to market directly to children.
Child photographs voluntarily uploaded through nursery registration are intended for the internal nursery purposes described in this Privacy Policy and are not treated as permission for public or promotional use.
If you believe information about a child has been submitted without appropriate authorization, please contact Heritage Assembly so that we can review the situation and, when appropriate, remove the information.

Heritage Assembly retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the applicable ministry or church service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, maintain appropriate church records, and comply with applicable legal, accounting, financial, or administrative requirements.

For example, financial and contribution records may need to be retained for accounting, reporting, and recordkeeping purposes even when other personal information can be removed.
Parents and legal guardians may request removal of nursery registration information or a child's photograph when it is no longer needed, subject to information Heritage Assembly may reasonably or legally need to retain.
